Built by acclaimed Two Oceans Marine, a South African based company specialising in bespoke luxury vessels, MY Quo Vadis is an Open Ocean 750 Luxury Expedition Catamaran, a true dreamboat with streamlined lines and a flowing, contemporary interior complete with modern appliances and refined styling.
Boasting four luxuriously appointed suites with either one king-size bed or twin single beds, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms, MY Quo Vadis can sleep up to eight adults. There are two separately appointed forward cabins for accommodating the four crew members who accompany the boat.
Designed to be “self-sufficient” for the long-range trips undertaken with Beyond the Reef luxury yacht charter, MY Quo Vadis is equipped for exploring the most remote uninhabited islands in the Seychelles. The motor yacht can generate ample water and electricity for everyone on board, which creates peace of mind to enjoy a consistent charter in comfort. Beyond the boundaries of life on deck that MY Quo Vadis enters another dimension at sea as it invites you to come face to face with life underwater. Daily sightings of stingrays, turtles, moray eels, barracuda, sharks, tuna, grouper, snapper, trevally and many more fish species can be enjoyed on multiple dive sites suitable for any class of diver from beginner to advanced. Divers can also experience the most enchanting marine life, with crystal-clear waters lapping the side of the hull as gently as a luxury resort swimming pool but surrounded by the special tropical blue and green of the islands bound by pearly white sands, granite rock formations and highlighted by the sun’s radiance.
Guided snorkelling and free diving trips can also be undertaken throughout the charter, with abundant sightings of colourful sea life not to be missed. Kayas and Stand-Up paddleboards are a perfect and gentle non-intrusive way to get up-close to turtles and rays around the flats as they allow guests to admire the atolls from an active and immersive perspective. A guided tour by nature experts who will point out seabirds and spot fishermen’s delights such as bonefish, permit and triggerfish is also a must-do to create the memory of a lifetime.
Onboard MY Quo Vadis the use of fish from the surrounding waters along with garden produce from Alphonse Island means menus are built around the freshest ingredients, combining the influences of Seychelles and Creole cuisine inspired by all the distinctive land- and seascapes of the Indian Ocean. MY Quo Vadis is available for private charter on an exclusive all-inclusive basis with a private chef (including local wine, beers and a selection of spirits) for half-day, full day or overnight cruises on the Inner Islands of the Seychelles, sensational sunset cruises, and up to multiple day private charters to explore and discover the rich diversity and ecosystems of the Amirantes islands as well as venturing as far as the Aldabra Group, often referred to as the ‘Galapagos of the Indian Ocean.’ Specialised staff for additional activities such as diving, fly fishing and skiff trips, can be added on request for an additional fee.
