HOW ARE WE QUALIFIED?
Becky Hampson is a Green Globe™ Accredited Auditor, a qualification which signifies her competence to audit businesses and organisations in compliance with the Green Globe™ Standard for Sustainable Tourism. As the holder of an MSc in (Natural) Disasters, Adaptation, and Development she has a clear and committed understanding of sustainability, conservation, and environmental impact.
Having worked in luxury travel and hospitality since she graduated, she has been at the forefront of communicating sustainable initiatives on behalf of Storrington Collective’s clients around the world. The development of ‘responsible tourism’ in world-class resorts and hotels, together with ‘experiential travel’ concepts are at the heart of a sustainable approach to preservation, protection and conservation that meets the needs of today’s discerning travellers.
Through guiding and growing individual sustainability initiatives in luxury lifestyle companies, Storrington Collective’s colleagues have a wealth of experience – from working with luxury automotive brands to collaborating with organisations that enable companies to manage risk, instil innovation and foster consumer trust. Environmental and social sustainability are crucial to establishing the highest standards of best practice across the travel industry. For Storrington Collective this is a priority.
WHAT IS GREEN GLOBE™?
Green Globe™ is a global leader in Sustainable Tourism Certification. For three decades Green Globe™ has become the world’s leading certification for sustainable operation and management of travel and tourism worldwide. They certify hotels, resorts, conference centres, and attractions (among more). Green Globe’s internationally recognised standard for sustainable tourism is based on 44 sustainability criteria and over 380 indicators. Green Globe is the original standard that all tourism eco-labels are based on.
The Green Globe™ International Standard includes Sustainable Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Cultural Heritage, and Environment. Green Globe™ is the key to a world of sustainable solutions.
We are able to provide consultation so your business can reach the point of certification. Please note, if we provide consultation, Becky will not be your auditor as audits must be carried out by an independent, third-party auditors according to ISO regulations.
Once you are a member of Green Globe™, you are able to request Becky to be your auditor on your journey to gaining the Green Globe™ Certification.
