Continue the celebrations with an extended festive season, and to welcome in 2022 both Wiltons and Franco’s are offering complimentary canapés during the reception drinks when bookings are made in Wiltons’ Jimmy Marks Dining Room and Franco’s private dining space for up to 20 guests. Both restaurants are situated in the heart of St. James’s and exude charm and elegance. The Jimmy Marks Room at Wiltons can accommodate 20 guests around its hand-polished mahogany table whilst Franco’s can hold up to 34 guests in their private dining space.
Established in 1742, Wiltons, one of London’s oldest restaurants, is home to the Jimmy Marks Room, an elegantly appointed private dining space with hand-painted gold-leaf frescos and beautiful artwork adorning the walls. This private dining room is the namesake of Jimmy Marks, Wiltons’ renowned Head Oysterman appointed by Olaf Hambro in 1942 who helped build Wiltons’ timelessly elegant reputation until his departure in 1976. In honour of Jimmy Marks, Wiltons continue the same dedication to excellence in the private dining room which houses a hand-polished mahogany table. Guests booking the Jimmy Marks Room can expect to enjoy the restaurant’s repertoire of delicious dishes each paired with a sommelier-selected wine.
As one of the first traditional Italian restaurants in London, authenticity is at the heart of Franco’s which is prevalent in each of their delicious and most importantly traditional dishes, each perfectly paired with a sommelier-selected wine from Franco’s extensive wine cellar. Much like Franco’s menu, their private dining space emulates the splendour of traditional Italian culture. With red and gold hues throughout the room and the centrepiece of the spacious room being a long table with 34 beautifully made white and red chairs, Franco’s private dining space is the perfect venue for private dinner parties, family celebrations, and corporate festivities.
